We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our dynamic educational team in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for physical education and sports and will be dedicated to encouraging students at KS3 to KS5 to stay active, healthy, and engaged in physical activity. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and the development of physical skills. Teach a range of physical activities, from traditional sports to fitness, health, and well-being topics, to students at KS3 and KS5. Develop a curriculum that meets national standards and fosters a love of physical activity in all students. Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback on improvement. Create an inclusive and motivating environment in which students feel encouraged to push their boundaries. Collaborate with colleagues in the PE Department to organize extracurricular sports events, teams, and activities. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS5 level. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students through physical activity. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about physical education and promoting lifelong fitness. Creative in lesson planning and delivering engaging activities.
