As a Primary Supply Teacher you will work in local Primary Schools in Ely and surrounding villages. This role would be suitable for ECTs and experienced Teachers, but applicants would need relatively recent experience of teaching in a Primary School. About the role Working full or part time you will cover classes across either Early Years, and or Key Stages one and two supporting children of varying abilities. Most of the lessons are pre-planned, so it is just a matter of delivering them and then some marking is usually required. The work can be as regular as you'd like and we will ensure the schools are local to you or with reasonable travelling distance. Guaranteed work contracts are also available. About the school We work with several primary schools in the Ely area to help with their supply cover. The role would usually be between 08:30am and 15:30pm, Monday to Friday with some marking expected but lessons are planned for you. You are able to choose which days you are available each week. The schools we support are inclusive, friendly and enjoyable places of work with class Teaching Assistants usually in place to support.
