The role of Finance Assistant will report into the Management Accountant and will support the accountant by assisting in reconciliations and overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function. The role is a temporary position and offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 as well as hybrid working.
The Opportunity
As a Finance Assistant, you will be chasing outstanding debt owed to the business and actively bringing down the aged debt. While also raising invoices, processing purchase invoices, and conduct payments runs. This role will involve the individual to partner with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
The role will include:
· Preparing invoices
· Reconciling company accounts, including credit cards and expenses
· Chasing debtors
· Reconciling supplier statements
· Answering any queries
· Supporting with month-end duties
· Payment runs
Background & Experience
We are keen to speak to individuals with the following profile:
* Experience as an Accounts Assistant working across AP & AR
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels
* IT proficient with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
