Join our team as a global advisory risk consulting intern and embark on an exciting journey to support the newly rebranded and realigned advisory organization at Genpact. As an intern, you will not just observe, but actively participate in various initiatives, gaining hands-on experience while working closely with industry advisory teams.
The role offers the opportunity to work with major banks to develop, implement, and enhance their frameworks, strategies, and transformations to meet regulatory requirements and beyond. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing robust project plans, and ensuring banks can effectively respond to the changing landscape of the Banking and Capital Markets domain.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the candidate the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of change. You will be an integral part of the team, working with and getting the best from all levels of the organization. The candidate will need to understand and articulate the differences between various solutions and their related operational processes and technologies.
Responsibilities
1. Provide relationship management support and leverage to Global Advisory Risk Partners.
2. Work with senior stakeholders in the project space across relevant business functions to ensure business plans are integrated into the client’s overall risk strategies.
3. Implement and oversee the execution of strategies across the organization and track the actions identified.
4. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all business activities along with status tracking and reporting.
5. Project Management: Track and communicate project status to the wider team and management.
6. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
7. Lead detailed analysis with line staff, wider Operations groups and Business Units to formulate and consolidate business requirements.
8. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
9. Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and project requirements.
10. Collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
11. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with project changes and project management best practices.
12. Engage with clients to understand their unique challenges and needs.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Education
* Rising senior in the pursuit of a bachelor's degree or rising second-year Masters/MBA in Business Administration/Management, Organizational Behavior Studies, Organizational Management, or Industrial Psychology.
Experience
* Distinguished academic performance complemented by extracurricular/co-curricular activities.
* Strong leadership abilities to lead project teams and drive project success.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Outstanding attention to detail with analytical depth and critical thinking.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points:
* Previous part-time or internship experience in a professional environment.
* Strong interest in Banking & Capital Markets Framework & Regulations.
* Proficiency in management software tools.
* Knowledge of MS suite of products including PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
