You will lead a surgical dietetic team delivering specialist dietetics across both elective and trauma surgery pathways including trauma and orthopaedics, vascular surgery, urology, colorectal and general surgery. The team deliver a dietetic service across Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull hospital sites. Main duties of the job As Lead, you will be a source of expertise for the wider surgical MDT and with our passionate team work collaboratively in promoting nutrition and raising the profile of dietetics across the Trust. Success in this role will see you lead and provide a high-quality clinical dietetic service to patients managed on surgical wards. You will review and update guidelines and policies relating to nutritional management of surgery patients. In addition, you will use your experience and enthusiasm to promote service developments and innovation in optimising nutritional interventions to patients managed by our elective theatre hub, our regional vascular centre and large trauma and orthopaedic centre,one of the largest in the UK.
