We are looking for a supportive and organised facilities co-ordinator with a focus on Health & Safety to assist in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment in our call centre as well as supporting our rapid expansion. Based out of our Edinburgh Call Centre you’ll have great attention to detail, seeing tasks through to completion as well as being adaptable when work tasks and priorities change. You’ll have a solid understanding of UK Health & Safety Legislation and be working within our Admin team to ensure all facility and occupational compliance across the region is supported.
In this Role, you’ll get to
1. Respond to facility-related issues and requests from staff, providing support as needed.
2. Maintain an inventory of office supplies and equipment and assist in procurement and replenishment.
3. Support the management team with facility-related projects and improvements.
4. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the proper functioning of technical infrastructure.
5. Assist in coordinating office moves, space planning, and workstation setups.
6. Assist in the daily operations of the call centre facilities, ensuring a clean and functional environment.
7. Support the coordination of emergency drills and maintenance of safety equipment.
8. Maintain records of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and assist in preparing reports.
9. Help organise Health & Safety training sessions for staff.
10. Support the coordination of regular risk assessments and safety audits.
11. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What you'll Need to Succeed
1. IOSH Certification in Health & Safety is a requirement.
2. Similar experience with a multi country approach.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Ability to work well in a team and provide proactive support.
5. Good communicator, resilient, adaptable to regular and ongoing change to work tasks & priorities.
6. Good organisational and multitasking skills.
7. Some experience in facilities management or a related field, with a solid understanding of Health & Safety practices.
This position is based in a busy call centre environment, requiring flexibility to support facility needs. Occasional after-hours support may be required for emergency situations or planned maintenance.
