Account Manager
We are working with one of the largest Ambient Salad producer/importer/packers in the UK industry. Our client grows and sources fresh produce across UK and Europe, marketing and distributing to major UK retailers. They now seek an enthusiastic, experienced and ambitious Account Manager to create, manage and uphold productive customer relationships. To maintain/increase sales and profitability via sales and promotional activity and through the analysis and presentation of market data. Nurture a strong relationship that positions our client at the forefront of customer decision making.
This exciting role will require an individual with passion and energy that will converse at various levels with retailers and European suppliers & growers. Of graduate calibre, you will have come from a similar role within a fresh produce business or a retailer, where financial, stock & people management will come naturally. You will have a proven track record of sales in an FMCG environment and experience in dealing with multiples in procuring and selling fresh produce. Confident and resilient as well as strong negotiation and presentation skills are a pre-requisite.
You will have excellent product knowledge, an understanding of logistics and a thorough appreciation of the complete grower to end customer process. You will also hold a passion for selling the highest quality produce and have the flexibility to adapt to a fast-moving business.
