What’s the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team to work on a variety of public sector projects and are particularly seeking candidates with healthcare project management experience.
You will also work as part of our project management discipline across a wide variety of sectors with world leading blue chip clients, world beating sporting teams, Automotive OEM’s, ground-breaking R&D organisations including defence, and some of the best academic research institutes.
If you have proven construction project management experience, this role will offer you the opportunity to lead projects, managing existing client relationships, and we will assist you to develop business opportunities that will further your career.
What you need to do to be effective in this role
1. Establish lines of communication and reporting procedures with the client and within the design team.
2. Arrange feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc.
3. Manage finances from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasts, monitoring project expenditure, and recommendations of payments by client, as well as internal budget and resourcing.
4. Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project inspection, scheduling, and acceptance of works required under the defects liability and maintenance provisions of the contract.
5. Development of project documentation, programmes, master budget, risk register, etc.
6. Maintain a robust document management system.
7. Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects.
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
1. BSc/MSc in a relevant project management / surveying / engineering related subject.
2. General commercial project experience.
3. NHS project delivery experience.
4. NEC ECC experience would be an advantage.
Ideally one or a combination of the following qualifications
1. MRICS
2. MCIOB
3. ChPP
