The Role
of The Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
• Responding to reactive breakdowns.
• Fault finding, problem solving and repair on manufacturing/production machinery to maximize plant reliability and performance
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of electrical plant equipment and components.
• Provide on shift electrical support to our maintenance/engineering team.
• General site electrical facilities maintenance including lighting checks and repairs, minor installation work, repair of electrical appliances and equipment.
• Monitor and control electrical spares.
Requirements Of The Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
• Time served electrical maintenance engineer
• Previous Industrial experience is essential.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and technical manuals
• Proficient in fault finding and diagnostics on a range of automated electrical systems including PLC logic (ideally Siemens but not essential), inverter drives, 3 phase motors and control systems.
