Project and Delivery Manager (FTC, 18 months)

Location: Slough, Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Job Type: Full-time, FTC 18 months
As a Project and Delivery Manager you’ll join our operations team working to plan projects and implement the operational delivery processes of various projects, including Surveys, Randomised Controlled Trials, International Surveys, and Assessment Trials with a key focus on project delivery, school relationship management, data collection, and supporting internal and external clients.
Typically, you’ll be working to prepare, agree and monitor schedules, creating communication materials, liaising with schools, and ensuring we make it as easy as possible for schools to participate in our research.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Ensure delivery of projects/products in compliance with contractual requirements while understanding and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
2. Plan and execute school recruitment and retention activities tailored to each project, monitoring responses and devising solutions to achieve project targets.
3. Draft correspondence, prepare materials for dispatch, and proactively manage risks and issues, seeking solutions to challenges.
4. Develop comprehensive staffing and resource plans to ensure efficient project delivery, including providing plans to relevant support teams.
5. Maintain precise records throughout data collection exercises using the RPO survey administration system and other relevant platforms as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Demonstrable experience supporting projects in a professional workplace.
2. Confident with using and managing large data sets and databases to monitor activities.
3. Ability to forward plan and coordinate all project tasks and resources (including people).
4. Ability to assimilate information and turn complex tasks into practical realities.
5. A logical approach and attention to detail.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications for different audiences.
7. High level of numeracy and the ability to work with complex logistical processes.
8. Ability to work unsupervised and under direction as part of a team or individual.
9. A genuine interest in the logistical and operational side of research and education-based projects and products.
