Please note as per Lidl internal structures your job title will be Consultant What you'll do Working at a national strategic level to drive forward our expansion & portfolio management plans Regular and Ad Hoc reporting on Strategy, Profitability, ROIs, Turnover, Competitors etc Creating property-specific data analysis and presentations for UK & International Boards Power BI dashboard development and GIS (Geographical Information System) analysis Providing quality assurance for all our in-house property systems, as well as bug-fixing, testing & managing system roll-outs Providing training & support to Regional Property Offices on systems & procedures Being the main contact anchor between Lidl International, Head Office, Regional Property Offices and other Lidl departments (regular liaison with all parties & levels) Data plausibility checks (investigating quality & accuracy) and pursuing queries with Lidl International and Regional Property Offices Building tools to support and streamline across the entire Property department Understanding the company’s ‘bigger picture’ and the property role within the organisation as a whole What you'll need Degree educated (2:2) in any discipline Knowledge of the German language beneficial but not essential Passion for working with numbers, data analysis tools and excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business Confident in supporting executive management A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude, and the ability to work on projects and solve problems independently Ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team, to tight deadlines while delivering accurate results Good Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel) Previous retail/property experience beneficial but not essential Previous experience in Power BI & GIS is desirable What you'll receive 35 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount Sabbatical Enhanced family leave Pension scheme Plus, more of the perks you deserve includes 10% non-contractual London Weighting allowance Disclaimer: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date.
