Are you keen to be part of the Isle of Wight Cancer Care team and becoming a Band 5 Staff Nurse in the Chemotherapy Unit.
The successful candidate will become part of a small, dynamic team working in a fast paced unit providing treatment for patients.
We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative and forward thinking registered nurse with demonstrable registration experience in this field.
Hours of work will be 09.00-17.00, Monday to Friday.
Ideally you will have experience in the Oncology and Haematology setting and be competent in administration of Chemotherapy and Intravenous therapies. Cannulation and venepuncture skills are essential. However if you do not have this experience please discuss with the Chemotherapy Sister or Consultant Cancer Nurse.
An adaptive professional approach is essential as you will deal with sensitive information.
We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to patient-centered care, who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-professional team.
