Our client are a leading UK housebuilder and are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the newly appointed project team on a new 100 unit development near Chichester. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale project from the ground up, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality homes for their customers. Responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations, including planning, scheduling, and supervision of subcontractors. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures. Monitor progress against programme and budgets. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Proactively identify and resolve site issues. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Experience with timber frame construction is highly desirable. Requirements: Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of building regulations and construction best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Valid CSCS card.
