They work in domestic and commercial environments and manage all types of small works and projects including planned and reactive maintenance. Role Overview S eeking a highly skilled and qualified Electrician with proven experience in both domestic and commercial settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing electrical systems in compliance with industry standards and performing a range of remedial tasks, including fault finding, consumer control unit (CCU) upgrades, partial rewires, and general maintenance work. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspection & testing and condition reporting of electrical installations. Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in domestic and commercial environments. Ensure all work complies with current wiring regulations (BS 7671). Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely. Liaise with clients and contractors to provide high-quality service and meet project deadlines. Ensure all relevant field management software and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent BS 7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition qualification Level 3 Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent) ECS Gold Card (Preferred) Skills / Qualifications Experience working in domestic and commercial environments, with the ability to handle a wide range of electrical tasks, including power distribution, lighting, and consumer unit upgrades. Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, including safe working practices in electrical environments. Expertise in identifying and diagnosing electrical faults, troubleshooting, and implementing effective solutions. Ability to read and interpret on-site guidance notes. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues. A meticulous approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards. Skilled in using technology and electronic devices for documentation and communication purposes. Experienced in using electrical certification software and familiar with all British standards certification. Willingness to adapt to different environments and challenges, whether working on residential projects or larger commercial sites.
