Business Unit Manager required. My client is a leading manufacturer and maintainer of Automated Weighing solutions and is looking to hire a Business unit Manager to oversee the day to day running of their site in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will from a team management background, will have working in a manufacturing / engineering setting, will have experience implementing processes and KPI's and will be based locally to Chesterfield.
Business Unit Manager Position Overview
1. Work with and liaise with the Service Manager and service team leader daily to ensure all targets are met.
2. Work with and liaise with the Service Sales Manager daily to ensure all financial targets are met
3. Ensure scheduled service contract KPI's are kept up to date and service visits are planned in accordance with the schedule.
4. Minimise contract losses by managing contract accounts and carrying out contract reviews with the allocated internal or external contracts manager
5. Ensure that the required spare parts for depot repairs have been ordered by service administration
6. Work with the compliance officer to close out any C.A.R reports relating to service work
7. Ensure that service department profits are maintained, invoicing in real time with weekly targets met
Business Unit Manager Position Requirements
8. Proven team management experience
9. Previous experience working in a customer service focused setting
10. Experienced implementing KPI's
11. Experience working in a manufacturing / engineering environment
12. Proficient in conflict resolution
13. Based within a commutable distance of Chesterfield
Business Unit Manager Position Remuneration
14. Salary £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
15. 33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
16. Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
