The Role
We are looking for a clinical expert who has the relevant management and leadership skills with the ability to support, develop a large community team of DN/ LTC staff to deliver optimum care to a specific locality. There is a post within Airdrie Community Health Centre with an additional post within Motherwell Health Centre however, post holder will be required to work across all North localities which will be Airdrie Health centre, Motherwell Health Centre, Coatbridge Health Centre, Bellshill Health Centre, View Park Health Centre and Wishaw Locality.
The successful post holder will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of an accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community by working in partnership with patients, care providers and other agencies. You will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
You will also will be responsible and accountable for the leadership and management of the aligned community nursing team and other staff groups where applicable, linking into the management structure of the Locality.
Interviews will be held on 23/12/2024. A presentation will also be required - the topic of this will be confirmed closer to the interview confirmation

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
2. District Nurse Certificate/SPQ Nursing in the Home or equivalent
3. Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
4. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
6. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
7. Management qualification or equivalent gained through experience and continuous professional development
8. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
9. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
10. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Effective time management skills
12. Working knowledge of basic information technology
13. Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence

These roles will be based in predominantly within Airdrie Health Centre and Motherwell Health Centre however You will be required to work across all North Localities - Airdrie Health Centre, Motherwell Health Centre, Coatbridge Health Centre, Bellshill Health, View Park Health Centre and Wishaw Locality.
The working pattern for this role will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
