Fleet Assurance & Quality Manager - London Fleet Assurance & Quality Manager An exciting new opportunity has emerged within Fleet, that will enable delivery of, via the maintenance and outstations contract(s), the required number of safe, clean and reliable trains to fulfil the daily fleet operation. The successful candidate will support the Engineering Safety & Compliance Manager to develop the planned audit regime using a risk based philosophy, manage the fleet assurance processes and own the fleet audit plan. The role of Fleet Assurance & Quality Manager is accountable for: Co-ordinate with the wider Fleet Team / external resources (as required) to deliver the planned audit regime. Complete audits when required to assure that contractual obligations and divested safety responsibilities are delivered. Ensure that audit actions and recommendations are recorded effectively and followed through with the supply chain to best position CrossCountry. Report the status of the audit regime and associated open actions on an on-going basis. Support the Engineering Safety & Compliance Manager to manage the content and processes captured within the Fleet Team applicable CrossCountry Safety Management System Documents and the updates of them appropriately. Support the Contract Manager’s managing on-board quality by overseeing and inspecting Train Presentation standards (including on-board defects) on an on-going basis. Support Contract Managers with the management of fleet related aspects of the Service Quality Regime (SQR) and Train Presentation. Support the Engineering Safety & Compliance Manager with the appropriate administrative activities to ensure systems such as NIR-Online are kept up to date as safety related issues arise. Participate in Fleet ‘On Call’. Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Training Commercial, Contractual, General Management and / or engineering related qualification or experience a benefit. Ideally previous experience of working in a railway operating / engineering environment however if relevant transferrable skills can be demonstrated from another industry, then these will be considered.
