The role will entail responsibility for overseeing the entire bid process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning proposals.

Responsibilities
* Track, monitor, and distribute bid opportunities to the senior management teams that align with the businesses, city, discipline, sector, and overall strategic goals.
* Analysing tender documentation to review, analyse, and support relevant tender priorities, adhering to the bid process.
* Undertaking detailed client/project/scope/stakeholder/competitor research to better understand opportunities.
* Championing the agreed strategy within the entire bid team.
* Analysing tender documents to define client requirements, deliverables, set deadlines, and owners.
* Taking the lead in the bid programme, ensuring content is fully compliant and quality checked to deliver a bid to deadline, highlighting interdependencies, and monitoring/reporting on progress.
* Manage, contribute to, and coordinate the upkeep of the company bidding material and standard processes/templates. i.e. a library of answers, CVs, and case studies.
* Report periodically to the senior management team on tender performance, which includes tenders in progress, outstanding, and success rates.
Required Skills
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Extensive writing experience in a professional and/or journalistic environment
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft; Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
* Skilled to manage delivery through colleagues, including technical employees at all levels, marketing and communications, and external suppliers
