Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow to join the research group of Prof Tihana Bicanic to work on a clinical observational study on the development of antifungal resistance in human candidiasis and candidaemia. The project would be based at the Institute of Infection and Immunity at City St George’s University and St George’s Hospital NHS Trust in London and is funded by the Medical Research Council (UK).
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about clinical research within mycology and/or the field of antimicrobial resistance, as well as working within a clinical academic group to deliver on clinically impactful research outcomes. Interested candidates will be supported in submitting a funding application towards undertaking an MD or PhD on this topic.
