Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital are looking for a dedicated Animal Nursing Assistant to join their fantastic team.
The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following tasks: assisting the nursing team with the setup of surgical procedures, providing support by holding patients for the veterinarians and nurses, cleaning and maintaining clinical areas, organizing and putting away supplies, as well as restocking and managing the cleaning and packaging of sterile equipment and theatre attire. Additional duties will include handling laundry and ensuring organization within the facility, as well as managing cats in our Radioactive Iodine Unit (with full training provided). You will also be required to cover shifts at both the reception and in our Boarding Cattery.

Your shift pattern
You will work 40 hours per week on a varied rota with shifts ranging between the hours of 7am and 11pm. It will also include a weekend rota of 3 weekend days every 8 weeks.
