Salary: £50k-£55k attractive OTE, car allowance and competitive benefits package
Location: Midlands - Southern Territory
The Company
Our client provides specialist waste treatment and disposal services to the Construction, Energy and Oil and Gas sectors. They are a significant and growing player in the industry. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the Midlands and South region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and build strong commercial relationships across your region.
2. Write and present commercial proposals while collaborating with Operations teams to deliver high-quality customer service.
3. Create excellent client relationships to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all technical details of the services provided.
4. Plan and manage your client base and region, ensuring regular face-to-face customer visits.
5. Maintain knowledge and awareness of market trends, customer trends, and the competitive environment.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Proven track record as a Business Development Manager from within the construction, demolition, or remediation sectors.
2. Technical waste understanding from these sectors.
3. Exemplary presentation skills while working on behalf of a corporate organization.
4. Decisive with strong negotiating and influencing skills.
5. Excellent relationship builder with clients and internal colleagues.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Excellent IT skills required.
