Reports To: Finance Manager
Hybrid working - At least 2 days in the office which is based in London Luton Airport.
Salary = £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on exam progress/fully qualified)
Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for selected accounts, managing both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet aspects, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
* Review monthly P&L results against the company's internal budgets
* Deliver insightful variance analysis to explain key differences
* Oversee the preparation of timely, accurate, and meaningful balance sheet reconciliations in collaboration with Support Services to ensure high-quality outputs
* Lead ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed, which is a major part of the role
* Assist the UK Finance Manager by coaching team members when necessary
* Actively collaborate with senior management to deepen their financial understanding and help optimize financial performance
Experience:
* Qualified or Part qualified Accountant (ACA,CIMA, ACCA)
* Proven ability to influence various stakeholders
* Ability to explain financial information to both financial and non-financial audience
* Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
* Knowledge of Sage/SAP highly desirable
* Management accounts and month end experience is essential
