We have an exciting opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team on the Isle of Portland. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom. Assist with the development and implementation of individual learning plans. Support the pupil’s emotional and social development. Work closely with the class teacher to ensure effective learning and engagement. Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment. Help with general classroom duties and ensure the pupil’s well-being. Requirements: Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desirable but not essential). Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children. Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude. A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
