Requirements
11. Degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent is essential
12. Current professional membership required
13. Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
14. Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
15. Ability to build rapport with ease
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
17. Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Responsibilities
18. Prioritise, assess and manage own patient caseload
19. In-depth awareness of relevant legislation and trends in Health and Social Care
20. Evidence of expert clinical knowledge to provide appropriate assessment/intervention
21. Work autonomously to undertake comprehensive standardised and non-standardised assessments in all aspects of occupational performance
22. Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
23. Prepare/present appropriate specialist professional reports as required
24. Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
25. Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
26. Support the service's leadership team
27. Maintain a high level of safety to ensure all service users are kept safe
