About the Role:
Our client, a leading construction company based in the Highlands of Scotland, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a range of Industrial, Residential, and Commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction contracts, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and monitoring all costs to keep projects within budget.
3. Contract Administration: Handle contract negotiations, ensure compliance with contract terms, and manage any variations or disputes that arise.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
5. Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
6. Health & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices and conducting regular site inspections.
7. Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality control standards across all projects, ensuring work meets the required specifications and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Relevant qualifications and certifications in Contracts Management.
3. Proven experience in a similar role, managing Industrial, Residential, and Commercial construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of contract law, construction processes, and industry regulations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
7. Valid UK right to work is required.
