The Opportunity:
EY's Financial Services People Advisory Services (PAS) tax team is a collaborative group of mobility, employment tax, reward and immigration professionals, uniquely focused on the financial services market.
We're seeking skilled professionals with Mobility Tax experience to join our team in the UK, working alongside our experts in Reward, Employment Tax, and Immigration. Based in London, Bristol, or Newcastle, you'll contribute to a high-demand national market, connecting with colleagues across our FS PAS region and other global service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the successful delivery of mobility tax advisory projects, ensuring appropriate tax technical excellence and a practical/business-driven approach.
2. Coordinate with PAS colleagues globally, and across all areas of specialism, to deliver a seamless service to our clients.
3. Maintain oversight of compliance delivery and support with related technical queries and client liaison, as required.
4. Lead entry and exit tax briefings for internationally mobile employees.
5. Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service.
6. Delegate work effectively and assist with the development of junior staff.
7. Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for both EY and clients from the services delivered while managing risk appropriately for both client and the firm.
8. Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and supporting on opportunities with new clients.
About You:
1. Excellent communicator in a range of situations, both written and oral.
2. Strategic and commercial awareness of wide business issues.
3. Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work.
4. Strong and motivated team player.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Project management skills, plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget.
7. Experience in working with Mobility tax, dealing with compliance issues and advisory projects, and providing tax technical advice where appropriate.
