Maintenance Supervisor

Up to £51,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A leading company is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in a fast-paced and safety-conscious environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of operators and be directly involved in improving the efficiency, safety, and reliability of plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of operators to improve safety, plant reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
* Support the Plant Manager in achieving operational goals and ensuring the plant meets Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
* Supervise external contractors and site service providers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
* Collaborate with the Production Planner to maintain raw material stock levels and ensure inventory management is aligned with production needs.
* Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices to support continuous improvement in production and maintenance operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: Level 3 Engineering qualification (preferably electrical/mechanical). Preferred: HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or Manufacturing Management.
* Experience: Proven leadership experience in production and maintenance, preferably in the Chemical or Water Treatment Industry.
* Health & Safety: NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable).
* Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Additional Requirements:
* Availability for out-of-hours emergency call-outs.
* Willingness to act as deputy for the Plant Manager when needed.
