We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly-motivated teacher of Spanish, French and/or German who will contribute to the teaching and learning of at least one language to A level standard and make a significant contribution to the learning experiences of our pupils.
An inspirational teacher who enjoys helping pupils of all abilities to thrive, you will make a significant contribution to the learning experiencing of pupils at the school, while playing a full and positive part in the life of the School.
Our Modern Foreign Languages department consists of five teachers and three language assistants. The department’s priority is to ensure that all pupils enjoy learning modern foreign languages and that they achieve maximum possible success in public examinations. To do this we aim to provide stimulating teaching in an attractive and disciplined learning environment. Everything undertaken within the language classrooms is intended to enable students to communicate effectively in the target language.
We are interested in applicants who are ambitious about pupil progress and committed to creating a dynamic, rich and broad curriculum. Initiatives to strengthen the exciting extension and enrichment programme will be valued, as will a well-judged and knowledgeable focus on the learning needs of individual pupils.
