Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Cyber Assurance Consultant. This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with a passion for cybersecurity to kickstart their career in the field of cyber assurance testing and compliance. As a Cyber Assurance Consultant, you will receive training and support while actively participating in cyber assurance engagements, with a focus on Cyber Essentials and compliance against other various standards. Experience within IT / Support / Analyst / SOC / Cyber is highly preferential. Key Responsibilities: Participate in cyber assurance engagements, including vulnerability assessments and compliance assessments. Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to meet client requirements. Pass training courses provided by Ruptura InfoSecurity. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business objectives, risk tolerance, and compliance requirements. Quickly learn and become a leader for key cyber assurance services such as Cyber Essentials Plus. Requirements: 3 Years commercial experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and best practices. Knowledge of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Must have excellent English and be able to clearly and confidently communicate with clients.
