Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesManagerial Responsibilities Act as the Trust Security Professional/Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) Responsibility for annual revenue budget of circa £1.2 million within delegated financial limits and in accordance with the Trusts Standing Financial Instructions. Authorise payments to contractors and suppliers using the Trust processes within approved budgets; Check and process monthly contractor invoices, agreeing allowances in the funding for extra guarding as required; Advise and draft new security related strategies, policies and procedures/SOPs; Ensure policies are well known, championing roll out and provide induction training; Support development of E-learning modules; To provide line management for the Deputy Security Manager; To include undertaking regular performance reviews with key in-house and contracted provider arrangements; reviewing KPIs, identifying training needs, including ensuring that inductions and Trust mandatory training courses are completed; ensuring that any performance issues are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner, and that appraisals are undertaken on an annual basis with periodic reviews throughout the year as appropriate.
