Job Description
We are a small but busy criminal law firm situated in Cardiff City Centre looking for a legal administrator. This is based on-site in our office in Cardiff City Centre and not open to remote applicants.
Experience & Skills required:
* Previous secretarial/administrative experience is essential
* Experience within a criminal law firm preferred
* Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and case management software)
* Excellent communication skills via telephone and email
* Excellent literacy skills
* Must be able to work well as part of team and autonomously, ability to use own initiative
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
* Must be reliable, hardworking, organised and with a positive attitude
Duties will include:
* Typing (audio transcription and copy typing)
* Filing/copying/scanning
* Data Entry
* Answering telephone calls which can sometimes be of a high volume
* Dealing with queries of all natures, including sometimes difficult clients
* Communicating with relevant agencies and clients to arrange appointments etc/diary management
* All administration tasks to keep the office functional and presentable

Hours:
This is a full-time position of 35 hours from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
