Joining our friendly and hardworking family as a Yard Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with customers who come into our yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success by providing first-class service.
What will I be doing?
No two days are the same in TP branch life, but here are some key responsibilities:
* Delivering high standards of customer service by being helpful and friendly at all times, building strong relationships with customers, often on a first-name basis.
* Processing customer orders outside, including loading and unloading vehicles.
* Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately booking them into the branch warehouse.
* Using a forklift is ideal, but full training will be provided.
* Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment to ensure safety standards are met.
What skills do you need?
This is a key customer-facing role. The main requirement is the ability to provide great customer service. We can teach you the rest.
Does this sound like you?
We hope you can say ‘Yes’ to all of the following characteristics, which are part of the DNA of all our Yard Sales Assistants:
* You are physically active, as this role involves lifting heavy building materials.
* You have a friendly and outgoing personality, happy to communicate face-to-face with customers and build strong relationships.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and tenacious, with high energy and drive.
* You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Being a Yard Sales Assistant at TP offers a fantastic opportunity to excel and develop your career. You will be encouraged to enroll in a TP development scheme, available to colleagues and managers at all levels. We will support your development with a plan aligned with our values.
