Applications are invited for the post of Sleep and NIV Administration Support. The post holder will provide an efficient administration service to support the Sleep and NIV team.
The successful candidate will join and contribute to a dynamic and busy Sleep and NIV team. The role will include the administration for the Sleep and NIV Clinical Fellow and the specialist nurse teams supporting the delivery of high quality patient care. The post is a total of hours per week, the working days and hours to be discussed with the successful candidate. There will be opportunities for development and training within this role.
The role will involve working closely with administrative, other secretarial, nursing and medical colleagues to providing a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support service. The post holder will be required to undertake audio typing of clinical letters, discharge summaries and other annotation and medical records handling, filing and other administrative tasks. You will have good attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills. You must have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently; using your initiative to contribute to the smooth running of this busy area. The post holder must have the ability to manage their workload efficiently and effectively. Previous medical administration experience is essential. Experience of working in a busy office environment is desirable.
