Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Who will you be supporting?
I'm a 25-year-old female, and I am currently supported in the hospital until my new home is ready. My home will be a completely refurbished bungalow, with large grounds, personalized adaptations, space for my parents to visit, and a separate staff area for you guys to enjoy. This will all be supported by technology-enabled care!
It is important to know about me, I am Chinese, and I speak both English and Mandarin, so it would be great if you were keen to learn about new cultures.
I really love being active, horse riding, heading out for a stroll along the beach, and walking around in nature. I genuinely just love walking. Do you? Is this the first thing we have in common? Let’s be super active together!
Did I mention that I have Autism? No? Well, that’s because my condition doesn’t define me, it just makes me the individual I am – but I would need you to have had some good prior experience of supporting people a bit like me so that you can understand me a little better. It’ll just make things a little easier for both of us.
I’m looking for a brand-new team of advanced support workers to be able to support me live my best life possible.
