We are seeking a highly motivated and committed administrator to join our teams. The role will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative duties to the Pre-Assessment and Admissions Departments.
The post requires flexibility and the ability to provide a wide range of administrative duties as the services develop.
Main duties of the job
1. Deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Receive telephone calls, accepting messages on behalf of members of the specialty team, taking appropriate action where necessary.
3. Liaise with appropriate personnel in the team to gather and co-ordinate patient information so this is accessible in a timely manner.
4. Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good standard of education, up to GCSE or O Level standard in Literacy and Numeracy.
* NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications/relevant experience.
Experience
* Experience of providing customer focused service.
* Experience in an administrative role.
* Proficient IT skills including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft packages.
* Experience of effective communication.
Additional Criteria
* Able to use own initiative.
* Able to organise and prioritise the workload of self.
* Able to work under pressure.
