This key role leads a 24/7 operational team to deliver Customer and network availability to service performance expectations.
Location: Winchester Office

The role:
1. Lead team performance and productivity to achieve the required function and customer outcomes
2. Deliver Service Management principles (ITIL) in Operation Centres achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, delivering contractual service availability, with high quality customer service through timely verbal and written interactions as specified
3. Manage team operations ensuring day to day management of a 24/7 operational shift team
4. Champion and manage continuous improvement opportunities across the team to deliver efficiency for process, system, people and operating costs
5. Be a point of escalation for operational engineers providing guidance and instructions for the operational team, expectations to support operational shift cover as required
6. Maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the Arqiva Security Policy in order to protect individuals, information and Arqiva assets
7. Promote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area of operation
The person:
1. Proven management experience of an operational team or similar leadership role
2. Experience in managing live broadcast services in a Control Room environment
3. Customer facing experience is desirable
4. Working understanding of ITIL. ITIL v4 Foundation is desirable
5. Awareness of Lean Principles White/Yellow belts
6. Higher Education Qualification (Degree level) in Broadcast, Network or Electronics Engineering
7. Cloud AWS and Cisco CCNA Qualifications/knowledge is desirable
