The LMU -DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine Rotations Coordinator coordinates clinical rotations and manages preceptor and clinical adjunct appointments.
Required Qualifications
1. At least 3-years experience in an office setting with good computer skills.
2. Software knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar programs.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills.
4. Good organizational and math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Familiarity with clinical rotations.
2. Knowledge of terminology regarding rotation types and requirements.
3. Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Job Duties
1. Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large.
2. Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students.
3. Participate on university committees.
4. Implement policies and procedures for assigning students to specific rotations.
5. Track multiple telephone inquiries, emails, and student schedule changes.
6. Send out appropriate paperwork to sites for student rotations.
7. Coordinate confidential student, facility, and preceptor files and compile regular and special reports as needed.
8. Ensure 3rd and 4th year osteopathic medical students as assigned to the rotations coordinator are scheduled and confirmed for clinical rotations that meet the requirements of the DCOM curriculum for graduation.
9. Ensure students are current with immunizations.
10. Ensure that students assigned to the rotations coordinator have the appropriate background checks prior to starting rotations.
11. Monitor the VSAS database.
12. Assist with applications and scheduling residency interviews (including VSAS applications).
13. Work closely with sites and their coordinators on changes to rotations and preceptors.
14. Gather student required clinical rotation documentation (drug screen, background check, all health documentation).
15. Provide required clinical rotation documentation to preceptors and hospitals.
16. Work closely with the students in setting up and making sure that all rotations are met for graduation.
17. Monitor formative and summative evaluations for students on rotations and compile grades.
18. Maintain database by entering, updating, and tracking information on students, faculty, and sites.
19. Complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
