Traid is looking for a motivated and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team in Alperton Lane, Wembley. Our warehouse plays a vital role in our mission to change fashion for the better, and is our central hub for sorting and processing donated clothing, keeping these items out of landfill.

As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll support the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work and thrives in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
* Operate the garment conveyor belt system, sending garments up the belt to our team of sorters.
* Safely and effectively operate machinery such as the garment compactor.
* Assist with the packing, movement, storage, and documentation of stock as needed.
* Follow warehouse procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
* Adhere to health and safety standards.
* Work closely with team members and managers to meet daily operational targets.
* Carry out general warehouse duties.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* A strong work ethic and reliability.
* Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items as part of daily tasks.
* The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
* Familiarity with operating machinery or willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail for sorting and maintaining stock standards.
* An interest in sustainability, second-hand clothing and charity retail.
