We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a service committed to improving the health and wellbeing of frail and older people. The Community Assessment and Treatment Services (CATS) provides rapid access to a multidisciplinary team comprising doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and OTs for primarily frail and elderly patients with a strong focus on providing high-quality care for people with frailty.
We are looking for a Team Lead who will provide clinical and operational leadership to the CATS multidisciplinary team, provide physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans for our patients, and oversee the new Marlow CATS Rehabilitation Service.
This is a great opportunity to develop experience leading and managing a multidisciplinary team comprising physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, registered Nurses, Health Care assistants, and rehab support workers. Furthermore, it gives the opportunity to work alongside GPs with a special interest in elderly care, enabling clinical development in frailty and falls prevention.
The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day operational and clinical running of the Community Assessment and Treatment Service, ensuring the service is running safely, efficiently, and effectively. They will provide leadership to and education opportunities for the CATS staff and work clinically as required, providing highly skilled physiotherapy assessments.
The successful candidate will have experience in planning and organising services that may need review and adjustment on a regular basis. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is calm under pressure and can help further develop the Community Assessment and Treatment Service.
The services run from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants can travel effectively and independently between Trust sites within the geographical area. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act.
