Our client is a well-established, large-scale organisation within the transport and distribution sector, based in Knutsford.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of a HR Administrator candidate will include, but may not be limited to:
* Manage all HR Administration duties including offers, contracts, on-boarding and leavers.
* Maintain up to date and accurate employee records.
* Conduct right to work, pre-employment, background, and security checks.
* Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings and interview scheduling.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Provide HR advice to employees and managers.
* Ensure end of probation reviews are conducted and escalate any concerns to the People Partner.
* Manage monthly payroll reporting, ensuring the submission is accurate and on time.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Administrator should have:
* A degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
* Ability to be a team player and to also work independently.
* Experience in an HR role within the transport and distribution industry is desirable.
* Good understanding of UK employment law.
* Previous admin experience in either a HR, payroll or recruitment admin role in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
* Ability to commute to Knutsford.
