Salary: Scale 5, SCP 12-17, £26,421 – £28,770fte (pro rata salary for 34.5 hours per week term time = £15,852 – £17,261.
Hours: Part time role of 34.5hrs per week, to be worked from 14.00 on Fridays to 09.00 on Mondays, term time only

NCW is a national residential school and college for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or vision impaired.

Purpose of the Job:
To manage a collaborative Care team to provide a high standard of care to children and young people with a vision impairment. To foster a positive environment for the delivery of the waking day curriculum and to ensure high quality documentation within Care. To supervise and support staff to work with students in a proficient and sensitive manner that will enhance both their academic and social development.
