Description The Partnerships & Events Communications Lead will be responsible for the codified execution of Partnerships, Events and PR across Europe. Such partnership and event properties will span across different verticals, including B2B, sports, government-led initiatives and NGOs. The role directly supports the Director of Digital, Social & PR in delivering through the line plans that: enhance reputation, earn trust and build the DP World brand. The ideal candidate will have proven multi market events experience across B2B, B2G and B2C either agency or client side and be used to working at speed in complex matrix environments with rightsholders and broadcasters. They will also be responsible for identifying, evaluating and coordinating relevant speaking engagements for c-suite executives and senior leadership within their geography. The lead will help drive alignment and synergies across DP World’s internal teams and agency resources provided, including PR, digital and social, visual identity, content, sports marketing, experiential and merchandising, and will bring all this together to executive fully integrated activations. The lead will also play a key role in ensuring that the company's brand and reputation is enhanced and protected. How you will contribute Planning: Establish a PMO Create the playbook for excellent execution Ensure synergy with our brand transformation guidelines Think/act globally, regionally and locally Implementation: Drive effective and cost-efficient execution through the line Blending of broader DPW campaigns with coordination of regional/local activities Regionalise partnership messages with broader business objectives Effective management of external agencies, vendors and other entities as required Support the Social and Digital Manager in delivering the key messages associated to our partnerships across owned and earned channels Support Internal Communications Manager in providing supporting content for the activations of partnerships internally. Manage opportunities within the current suite of rights and benefits for each partnership in which DP World is currently engaged For speaking opportunities, manage the communications and logistics and fulfil relevant requests from the organisers on behalf of DP World and the selected executive spokesperson Prepare briefing papers and organise briefing meetings with subject matter experts to ensure the senior executives has the relevant information before the engagement Prepare wrap-up reports after every engagement and ensure the media relations, internal comms and digital teams have the relevant information for their activities, including press releases or social media Measurement: Establish and report on a Digital Dashboard of measurements which Illustrate “What success looks like” for bronze, silver and gold events. Leverage data to monitor performance against targets (ROO and ROI) and improve performance Evaluates the relative effectiveness of different channels e.g., hospitality vs. fan activations Continuous Improvement: Encourage and nurture a culture of innovation designed to Test and validate new ideas and approaches Explore opportunities for enhanced productivity (‘doing more with less’) Expand and strengthen professional skill sets in channel management Compliance: Constantly adhere to and actively promote behaviours which reflect the Brand Purpose Regional owner and manager of our partnerships and events policies Maintaining the highest levels of Safety standards Complying with our Principles, Code of Conduct and Ethical policies Acting as an ambassador for DP World at all times Budget tracking and management – management of approval process for supplier quotes What will you bring Educated to graduate level Experience of performing a delivery role within a matrix corporate environment Demonstratable years comms project management experience Experience and knowledge of media relations preferred Knowledge of the region and industry preferred Experience of both reactive and proactive digital communications Demonstrable evidence of delivering through others Outstanding English oral and written skills; fluency in another language an advantage Capable of influencing at all levels Confident and personable Willingness to roll up sleeves, get the job done and perform other duties as required Compensation DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
