OSHC Coordinator – St James Catholic Primary School, Glebe
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Coordinator to spearhead the launch of our brand-new After School Care service at St James Catholic Primary School, Glebe, opening in Term 1, 2025. This is your chance to shape a service that makes a real difference in the lives of children and families within the community.

* Inclusion-focused: Experience supporting children with additional needs is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take charge as the Responsible Person for the service.
* Create a safe and inclusive environment for children and staff.
* Maintain accurate attendance and booking schedules to ensure child safety and supervision.
* Lead and mentor other educators, fostering teamwork and accountability.
* Design and deliver engaging educational programs, supported by observations and reflection journals.
* Share children’s achievements and participation with families, strengthening connections.
* Build lasting relationships with families and the school community.
This permanent full-time position offers 76 hours per fortnight, with afternoon block shifts. Please note: No before-school or vacation care responsibilities are required.
About You:
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
* Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
* Current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
* A valid NSW Working With Children Check.
