We are looking for an experienced Early Years Educator to join our team and help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of activities that promote the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children aged 2-5. This role requires a creative individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching. The Early Years Educator will also be responsible for developing lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and providing feedback to parents.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of young children.
2. Observe and assess the development of children.
3. Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
4. Encourage children to explore, create, and express themselves through activities.
5. Develop positive relationships with parents and guardians.
6. Maintain records of each child's progress.
7. Communicate with other professionals such as speech therapists, social workers, and medical professionals.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in early childhood education and childcare settings.
2. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
3. Nursery experience, demonstrating the ability to create a nurturing environment.
4. Leadership and management skills to guide and support junior staff.
5. Proficiency in English for clear communication.
6. A valid driving license may be beneficial for transportation needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
