Position
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to start a career in finance. As an entry level role, you will be inducted into the finance team and gain wide experience across a range of roles in finance. The successful applicant will also receive training to qualify as either an ACCA or CIMA accountant.

Role Requirements:
1. Assisting in the production of monthly revenue reports and sales analysis.
2. Assist in the production of monthly cost of sales analysis.
3. Producing and developing margin analysis for new and existing customers.
4. Maintaining and developing pricing database and models, ensuring they’re shared with relevant parties.
5. Retrieve and process information from databases for billing and reporting purposes.
6. Prepare and post monthly journals (accruals, deferrals and provisions) and ensure the accurate reconciliation of data.
7. Liaising with other teams to ensure accuracy of data and costs.
8. Using business intelligence tools to develop the analysis, reporting and processes around revenue, cost of sales and margin.
9. Maintaining and developing PowerBI reporting on a monthly basis.
10. Liaising with external auditors.
11. Advocate for data quality, championing timely, accurate, consistent information.
12. Other ad hoc duties and cover for other finance areas as and when required.
Requirements
* Degree qualified with a 2:1 or higher.
* Qualified accountant or training towards accountancy qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
* Knowledge of SQL desirable.
* Use of Microsoft Dynamics, Jet reporting and PowerBI (beneficial).
* Highly numerate and ability to deal with large volumes of data.
* Proficient in Excel, particularly pivot tables and V-lookups.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company and externally.
* Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic and have a proactive approach to work.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Desire to learn new skills and take on responsibility when required.
* Flexibility towards tasks with the ability to work effectively using own initiative.
