The overall objective of the Commercial Analyst (Product Strategy) role is to review and analyse proposed future products and their associated impact on the business; both commercial and operational. The role will be expected to contribute to an improved understanding of the business's target client segment and archetypes, relevant business trends, market size & analytics, and ultimately to the development of pragmatic business cases for new product offerings A successful Commercial Analyst will be expected to gather, review, analyse and report company and industry data, ensuring the effectiveness of the businesss competitor and market intelligence (CMI) function, and to effectively communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders across the business. The role will help maintain an understanding of the client archetypes they serve via systematic analysis of client data, to ensure shifting client preferences and emerging market opportunities are accurately reflected in their product roadmap. The Commercial Analyst (Product Strategy) role will report into the Head of Product Strategy and assist in shaping the businesss term strategic initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders from across the business. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the validation of new product ideas Business analysis/ financial modelling (for TAM analysis, ROI modelling, etc.) Create/ maintain core product strategy artefacts (e.g., client segment/ archetype definitions, product value prop collateral for Product Marketing, etc.) Communication/ syndication of relevant info to business and other stakeholders Key skills: 1-3 years relevant experience Experience in assessing new markets and developing new offerings Has been involved in projects that contributedto newproduct offerings within an organisation Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills Market research and data analysis Proficient in Power BI, Salesforce and Excel
