We are now seeking a Validation and Compliance Technician to join our client on this journey, ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our breakthrough climate tech solutions.
As a Validation and Compliance Technician, you will be responsible for all on-site testing of our advanced, fuel-flexible power systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance. This hands-on role will involve working closely with engineering teams to validate system functionality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Testing & Validation
1. Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures to verify system performance and reliability.
2. Conduct functional, endurance, and safety tests on electromechanical power systems.
3. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, implementing corrective measures.
Health & Safety Compliance
1. Ensure all testing procedures adhere to the latest health and safety regulations.
2. Perform risk assessments and implement control measures to maintain a safe working environment.
3. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
1. Maintain meticulous records of test results, compliance reports, and validation documentation.
2. Work closely with R&D and production teams to refine and enhance system performance.
3. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential design or process improvements.
About You
You are a detail-oriented technician with a passion for precision and problem-solving. Your background in electromechanical systems, coupled with a strong understanding of health and safety, makes you a perfect fit for this role.
Essential Skills & Experience
1. Hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, or commissioning mechanical/electromechanical systems.
2. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to industrial testing.
3. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Experience
1. Experience in compliance testing for power systems, renewable energy, or related fields.
2. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, CE marking, or other regulatory frameworks.
3. Gas Safe certification or similar safety qualifications.
