About the role:
The Automotive Department is a thriving and successful department delivering Level 1 to Level 3 light vehicle maintenance qualifications alongside Level 1 - 3 Electric Vehicle awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
* To teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices.
* To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.
* To contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes, including:
o Actively contributing to the development of new programmes within the curriculum area
o Producing annual schemes of work and/or training plans for all subjects/programmes to be taught.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Level 3 or higher in Automotive
* Good understanding of IMI qualification and apprenticeship standards
* Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards
* Assessors qualification and ideally an IQA (willingness to work towards IQA)
* Ability to meet targets within set timescales
* Ability to work well in teams and independently.
