About the roleChief Marketing OfficerSalary Circa £125,000 per annumLocation: UK (Head office is Reading)A rare opportunity to become a member of our Executive Team at Education Development Trust.The Chief Marketing Officer will lead the strategic planning function in collaboration with the Executive Team. You will lead design, development, and implementation of the growth strategy for the organisation. This includes identifying and pursuing new opportunities for growth, developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and market share, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve growth targets.You will lead and manage the client-facing teams in the Marketing Directorate including Brand, Marketing, and Strategy teams, ensuring that each function is fully aligned to the overall company strategy, and that the ways of working in the organisation are optimised to achieve growth targets for educational outcomes, revenue, and financial contribution.Who are we looking forProven leadership of successful brand and marketing campaigns aligned to organisational objectivesCurrent knowledge of best-practice techniques in strategic growth in complex organisations (operations and control as well as analysis and commercial)Significant knowledge of strategic planning processes and strategic plan development in collaboration with a broad range of stakeholdersMinimum of a degree equivalent qualificationEvidence of continuing professional developmentSuccessful track record of strategic marketing and customer relationship management ideally in an educational environmentProven track record of achieving and/or exceeding targets for growth within the UK and international marketsExperience of developing customer service strategies, the advocacy model of marketing and managing customer relationshipsExperienced and seasoned in building, leading, motivating, and developing a multi-dimensional team, with a track record of both team and personal success and growthWhat we can offer youSalary circa £125,000 per annum based on working 35 hours per week.30 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)11% Matched Pension SchemeLife AssuranceDiscounted gym membershipsHealth care cash planRecruitment ProcessTo be considered for this vacancy, applicants are required to complete and submit a fully completed application including CV through our website no later than midnight Monday 04 November.
