An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Senior Recruitment Officers - Medical Workforce to join the newly established Medical Workforce team based at UHCW providing an efficient, comprehensive and timely medical recruitment service. These are key roles in providing varied and general administrative support to the wider Medical Workforce team.

Flexible working options are available such as compressed hours and remote working; however, given the role sits within a healthcare setting, the successful candidate will need to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days per week to enable cover across the team.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Creating adverts and organising interview schedules for medical interviews.
2. Undertaking pre-employment clearance checks for all non-training grade medics, including completing offers/contracts of employment.
3. Maintaining accurate filing systems and updating data to the relevant recruitment systems.
4. Organising recruitment activity.
5. Managing all recruitment activities for all (training and non-training grades) medical staff within the Trust.
6. Working collaboratively with hiring managers for all areas of the Trust to support the Medical recruitment process.
7. Liaising with Senior Clinicians, HR People Partners, and Group Managers to lead on recruitment initiatives.
8. Ensuring all recruitment checks are undertaken in line with the NHS employment check standards.
You will need to have excellent customer service skills, good working knowledge of Word and Excel, and be able to work in a busy environment with ever-changing priorities and deadlines. Previous experience in a recruitment role would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Provide information to the recruiting specialties on a range of Medical Workforce issues, ensuring that Trust policies and standards, as well as national terms and conditions of employment for doctors, are adhered to.
2. Deal with a range of employee relation queries in accordance with the Trust’s HR policies.
3. Investigate and resolve queries from recruiting managers and applicants, ensuring action to prevent any recurrence.
4. Generate reports on medical workforce information.
5. Complete forms for new starters, leavers, or contractual changes for medical staff.
6. Ensure personal files are updated for audit purposes.
7. Complete compliance checks for new starters in relation to passports, visas, occupational health clearances, DBS clearance, and references.
8. Provide cross-cover within the Medical Workforce Team during times of absence.
9. Provide day-to-day supervision for Medical Workforce Officers.
10. Undertake advertising of all medical roles across each specialty, utilising social media and relevant job boards.
